01Who we are
TrenchBrain (“we”, “us”) runs trenchbrain.com and decides how the personal data described here is used. This policy covers the TrenchBrain website.
02What we collect
- From Whop when you sign in: your email address, your Whop account id (a code Whop gives you) and whether your membership is active. If you unlock TrenchBrain with a Whop receipt instead, we look the receipt up with Whop and read the account and email on it.
- Cookies: a session cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 7 days, and a short-lived cookie (about 10 minutes) used only while you sign in. No advertising cookies.
- What you do on TrenchBrain: your paper book (positions and fills), alerts, saved wallets, home layout and settings.
- Ask: the question you type and the earlier turns of that chat, while the answer is written. We keep the time of each question (not the words) for 24 hours to enforce the limit on how many you can ask. If something goes wrong with an answer, the start of the question can show up in our server logs.
- Usage logs: requests, timestamps and IP address, which we keep to run and secure the service.
We never see or store your card: payment stays with Whop. We do not hold keys, wallets or funds. We run no advertising or analytics trackers on the site.
03Why we use it
- To open and close your access and run your membership (this is the contract between us).
- To keep TrenchBrain secure, stop abuse and enforce limits (our legitimate interest).
- To answer your questions and requests, and to meet legal duties.
We do not use your data for advertising and we do not build advertising profiles.
04Ask and the AI provider
When you use Ask, your question, the earlier turns of that chat and the public material we pull to answer it (posts, room messages, prices) are sent to Z.ai, the third-party AI provider that runs the model, to write the answer. We do not send your email, your Whop account id or your name. Z.ai handles what it receives under its own terms and privacy policy, and it may process it outside the country you live in. AI answers can be wrong. Do not put in Ask anything you want kept private.
05Who else receives data
- Whop: identity, sign-in and billing, under Whop’s own privacy policy. It receives what you give it, and it tells us who you are and whether your membership is active.
- Z.ai: your Ask questions, as described above.
- Public market-data providers: when you ask about a coin or open one, the coin’s ticker or contract address is sent to public market-data services to fetch prices and charts. Those requests carry the coin, not you.
- Hosting: our servers run on third-party hosting infrastructure, so it holds everything we hold.
- Your browser talks to some companies directly: if you open a Twitch or Kick stream player, an embedded X post or a profile picture that comes from another host, that company sees your IP address and can set its own cookies, under its own policy. On the sign-in page, Whop’s checkout loads in your browser too.
That is the list. If a new provider starts receiving member data, we will add it here.
06No sale of data
We do not sell your email, your book, your usage or your Whop identity. Ever.
07How long we keep it
Session cookies expire on their own. Usage logs are kept only as long as we need them to run and secure the service. Ask timing records are kept for 24 hours. Your account and paper book stay after your membership ends so you can come back to them, and we delete them when you ask.
08Where it goes
Whop, Z.ai and our host may handle data in countries other than the one you live in.
09Security
We take reasonable steps to protect what we hold, and nothing on the internet is fully secure.
10Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. If GDPR or a similar law applies to you, you can also ask us to restrict how we use it, to give you a copy in a portable form, and to stop using it where we rely on our legitimate interest, and you can withdraw consent where we rely on it. You can complain to your data-protection authority. To use any of these rights, contact us through Whop. We may need to confirm it is you, and we will answer within the time the law sets.
11Public information
The on-chain activity and public posts TrenchBrain shows are already public. We do not treat them as private, and they are not covered by the choices above. If something we show is about you and you want us to look at it, contact us through Whop.
12Age
TrenchBrain is for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data about anyone under 18.
13Changes
We may change this policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date.
14Contact
Privacy questions and requests go through your Whop membership.
